About the OnCellRx Reminder Blog

A dedicated team has been working on medication compliance, patient compliance/adherence, and researching the use of technology to empower patients for many years. It’s not easy to make easy-to-use systems. And that hard work requires a steadfast and passionate commitment to patient care, with a constant vigilant eye on our rapidly changing “technologies of convenience”.
A pharmacist and several engineers, technologists, programmers, designers, and of course patients — have all worked hard to bring low-cost and effective medication reminder systems to patients who need help tracking all of their medications. Their efforts have produced OnTimeRx software for Palm and Windows Mobile devices, Medication Reminders for Blackberry devices, desktop software for tracking medications, and now pager and cell phone alerts for medication reminders (phone calls, email and pager alerts) via the OnCellRx.com service. Phew. That’s a lot of hard work.
One of these dedicated people decided it was time to talk about more than the product. It was time to describe the way the product fits into the world. The way the product is designed to fit. How real people use it, and the way those people continue to guide our team to make it work even better. To basically talk “about” the OnCellRx system. And this reminder blog was born.
